In short, it’s like finding out the exact combination to your partner’s heart so that you can love them in the way they need to be loved. Many people make the mistake of loving their partner in the way they themselves like to experience love and oftentimes, that leads to frustration for both partners.

The final “S” in the H.U.G. & K.I.S.S. acronym stands for Soul Connection and for some people, it’s critical to have that need met before they can ever deepen a relationship. In fact, for some people it’s such a deal-breaker that without it, there is no moving forward.  Oftentimes, that craving for soul connection is deeply related to issues of physical intimacy and sensuality although the emotional connection is also critical. So if it’s so important…how do you get it…and can it be created?

While physical attraction is important, the truth is, looks can be somewhat subjective and they are not always the most important factor. Just look at how many Hollywood mismatches there are and trophy wives who seem to be genuinely attracted to their less-attractive partners. Real, lasting attraction has more to do with the Natural Law of Polarity and the way you make your partner feel. For masculine men, they are often attracted to visually attractive and very feminine women who make them feel needed, important and able to be successful in meeting their needs. For feminine women, they need to feel understood, appreciated and protected so they are safe to relax and open.

Once you have an attraction based on chemistry, the next step is taking it deeper and here’s one way to do it. Imagine that your partner has a song in their soul and it’s transmitted to you via radio waves. In order to have real understanding, you need to be on the same wavelength or frequency so that you can get to the point where you know your partner (or their song) better than they know themselves. In any relationship, you have to anticipate that there will be periods of time when interference or static gets in the way of clear reception. In order to have a true, lasting, soul connection, it’s your job to get to know your partner’s song so well that you’re able to fill in those occasional gaps and get back to the place where your connection is clear and pure again. The greatest gift you can possibly give your partner is the ability to see the best in them even when it’s not obvious in the moment. Once you are able to get to that point, it’s possible to create the Legendary Love For Life that stands the test of time.
